The Brief

Swyftx wanted to evolve their presence at the Australian Crypto Convention beyond traditional giveaways and arcade-style booth games.


With previous activations already drawing strong attention, the challenge was to create something that felt more immersive and aligned with their campaign theme, “Where can crypto take you?”


The goal was to give attendees a reason to stop, engage with the brand, and walk away with merchandise they genuinely wanted to wear and use after the event.

The Solution

We designed a live merchandise activation that allowed visitors to personalise items in real time.


Attendees could select their preferred cap design and watch it stitched live on industrial embroidery machines, while drinkware items were customised on-site using laser engraving.


Rather than distributing pre-produced merchandise, the activation invited people into the process. Each item was created in front of them, turning branded merchandise into a personalised product and a memorable part of the event experience.

Delivery

Our team supported the activation from bump-in through to event operations, managing artwork setup, machine calibration and production flow throughout the convention.


Running both embroidery and laser engraving equipment in a high-traffic event environment requires careful planning to maintain quality while keeping queues moving during peak periods.


By preparing artwork systems and production workflows in advance, we were able to deliver consistent results while operating under the fast-paced conditions of a live event.

The Outcome

The activation quickly became a focal point within the Swyftx booth, drawing steady attention from attendees curious to see merchandise produced and customised in real time.


Caps and drinkware created during the event were immediately worn and used around the venue, extending Swyftx’s brand visibility throughout the convention.


By combining live production with personalisation, the activation turned promotional merchandise into an interactive experience that attendees actively chose to engage with.
